Invited talk at international workshop on ‘Public History through face-to-face communication’, Prague, May 2019

Alena Pfoser has been invited to present her research on Russian tourism at the international workshop “Let’s talk about History!” Public History through face-to-face communication, organised by the German Historical Institute Warsaw and the Centre for Contemporary History Potsdam from 22-24 May 2019 at Vila Lanna in Prague. Her paper focuses on the work of tour guides as mnemonic intermediaries and is entitled ‘Contested Heritage and the Work of Mnemonic Intermediation: Guiding Russians through Tallinn’.
